The life-giving qualities of herbs have been used throughout the span of humankind. My family and pets have used herbs for many ailments. In fact, my Dog Sandy is a Shepard mix, and is almost eighteen years of age. I really think that the use of herbs have helped her to have a graceful long life. Some examples of our herbal uses are: putting black walnut tincture into the pet's food to prevent any unwanted parasites. Red clover tincture, and combinations containing red clover are daily tonics for my dog in helping a tumor to shrink. Red clover is a blood purifier. Cayenne pepper, this herb will help to boost the immune system, and keep the arteries, veins, and heart in healthy condition. If you are having trouble relaxing before bedtime, a cup of chammomile tea, with maybe a little honey, will help you to have a restful night's sleep.
